Side Sweep Flames enters from the left edge of the iPhone 7 Plus back panel and sweeps diagonally across the surface in a single directional wave of orange, amber, and red tones — a composition about movement and trajectory rather than symmetry or repetition. Unlike centred flame prints, the asymmetric layout uses the phone's full 5.5-inch canvas to create a sense of motion that continues beyond the frame, as though the fire is passing through rather than contained within the case. Tempered glass renders the gradient tones with refractive depth, giving the print a visual weight that flat polycarbonate doesn't deliver.
The case uses a tempered glass back panel seated inside a flexible TPU bumper. The glass is scratch-resistant and the print is sealed beneath it through dye-sublimation — bonded into the panel during manufacturing rather than applied as a surface coating, so it is fully protected from abrasion and contact wear. Camera edges are raised to protect the lens, and the screen lip provides passive protection when the iPhone 7 Plus is placed display-side down.
