Vivo V40 series India launch date
The Vivo V40 Series is set to launch in India this week. The Chinese company has scheduled the event for August 7th. Fans can watch the live stream at 12 PM on the brand’s official YouTube channel. Pre-orders are likely to begin shortly after the announcement, with sales expected to commence later this month.
Expected price of Vivo V40 series in India
The Vivo V30 started at a price of Rs 33,999 for the base 8/128GB model. The Vivo V40, featuring a Zeiss co-engineered camera system, could be launched at a similar price range of Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000.
On the other hand, the Vivo V40 Pro is likely to be priced above Rs 40,000, similar to its predecessor, which began at Rs 41,999 for the 8/256GB variant.
Vivo V40 series camera
Vivo has provided details only about the camera setup of the Vivo V40 Pro. The smartphone will come equipped with four 50MP sensors: a 50MP IMX921 main camera with OIS, a 50MP IMX816 telephoto lens, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP front camera for selfies, featuring a 92-degree field of view.
The telephoto lens will support 2X optical zoom and up to 50X digital zoom. This camera system, co-engineered with ZEISS, offers five portrait modes with focal lengths ranging from 24mm to 100mm.
